Character History and Personality

Arethis has been curious of the dark arts of magic since he was very young. Always cautious of the famous saying "With great power comes great responsibility," Arethis has wanted to learn the crippling magics for good and not evil. His goal has always been to become the hordes greatest fear driven by his deep hatred of the orcs. Greatly hurt by the orc legion, Arethis has always continued his appreciation of magic and destruction in hopes that one day he would be granted his revenge.

Gaming History

I have played Everquest, Daoc, AC2, and SWG over the course of the past few years. With the exception of DAOC, none really held my interest. However, the idea of online gaming makes it impossible for me to unplug and play a single player game again. I loved DAOC, though once you get to a certain level there is really nothing to do.

I Beta tested SWG and that was about enough for me of that game. It had its ups, its downs, and ultimately came out a little bland and boring. Nothing spectacular about it like I was hoping. I caught wind of WoW a few months back and all I can say is "WOW!". With its comic book graphics ( bright colors and cartoonish landscapes) it is sure to be a completely different game than the usual and add some style to MMO's. Made by a reputable company and loaded with content I think this could be the game to get me by for a few years until the next best thing comes around.

First off I chose Shadows Edge because it seems to be built around a tight core. From experience with other guilds, I know that strong leadership is the key to building a large and firm organization. Though communication is essential, proper communication is perfection.

I think I would add my own share to this guild and be a good member because I am an honest, intelligent strategist. I love games and I possess a strong determination for the things I love. I would like to join an organization of players that are fun to be around and players that are always around.
