Character History and PersonalityThe character Tense originated in the game Lineage. At the time I was playing a knight called SKnight, and for fun I started a mage and leveled it to level 5. I continued to play my knight, and after a day of fighting at a boss spawn I was chaotic. I hunted all that day and became lawful again and the next morning decided to let my friend use my character for a little. On a hunt in the ant caves he died and dropped my sword. It was at this point I decided to play my mage "Tense"
So from being a level 49 Knight, I went to a lowly level 5 mage, but a mage with good equipment and all spells available none the less. I took my time leveling though, to try and enjoy it. In about a week I was level 40, and it was at this point a mage could summon bugbears (the only reasonable summon to hunt with). Tense was my first summon mage ever, and I was proud to be able to do it. It was at this point I realized how much I loved being a mage, in another week I was level 47, and had gained over 9,000,000 adena (Lineage currency) which was a lot for me at the time. Very rapidly I had gained money and aquired new and more powerful items, I had become well-known at a time for hunting drakes and for melee fighting with knights and beating them. After some time, I decided to be a little crazy and gamble. I tried over-enchanting the items I had, and a few were successful, while all the others were lost. I had always thought all or none, so I continued to attempt over-enchanting the ones that were already successful, and 2 of them succeeded again. I was left with a +9 Staff of Mana, and +7 Power Gloves. Still I tried again, but this time with no success, and that was the end of Tense in Lineage.
The return of Tense never happened in Lineage, although attempted in Asheron's Call 2, Final Fantasy XI, Shadowbane, and Starwars Galaxies, never successful. None of these games were ever satisfying enough, so I think World of Warcraft looks like a suitable atmosphere for the return of Tense.

Gaming History
I have played in many MMORPG's. Lineage being my favorite, but also including FFXI, SWG, AC2, and Shadowbane. These are generally my favorite types of games, I like growing worlds in games where continually build up over time.
