Character Sheet for Ignis Faatus
avatar Race: Night Elf
Class: Priest
Gender: Male
Desired Skills: Healing
Trade Skills: Alchemy

Character History and Personality

Ignus was born under a shroud of dillusion. His ancestry hidden by his parents deception. Foolish decisions surround his origin, yet Ignus finds solitude and hope within himself as he follows his chosen path.

Often his environment penetrates his senses with noise, smell, and sight. Often piercing, sometimes tempting, but can be both pure and misleading. Surrounded by confusion, the challenge is to make sense of the confusion and not become the fool. Like the literal meaning of his name Ignis is spunkie and verbose, with a temper that burns like a foolish fire.

Gaming History

I became hooked on computer games with Diablo and Diablo II. I love those games and still today play them occasionally. I have several characters and my favorite is a level 80 Barbarian named Raider. Yes, I'm a warrior meat-head by nature. I love to get in the scuffle and mix it up.

While playing Diablo, my real life friends, who are the other founders of Shadows Edge, kept trying to convince me to play online games. I just couldn't see the value in paying a monthly fee for a game. However, that would soon change.

When Dark Age of Camelot was released, I decided to experience an MMORPG. I was attracted to the genre and played Dark Age of Camelot for two years on the Lancelot server. My main character was Svendig Rockbottom, a Troll Warrior, and my second character was a female Skald named Doman Atrix. My claim to fame was building Siege weapons and taking keeps, having one of the highest siege weapon skills on our server. This experience was my hook into online gaming.

After getting Svendig to level 50 and realm rank 5, I decided that I needed speed for RVR (Realm vs. Realm, or PVP on a massive scale). So I created a Female Skald named Doman Atrix. HEHE, I loved that name. I got her to level 50 and Realm Rank 3.7 when my RL buddies stopped playing and convinced me to play SWG. So today, I have a Bounty Hunter in Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) on the Intrepid server and we are having a lot of fun. To be honest, I personally am just killing time until WoW releases. I am not a big Sci-fi genre fan. I prefer the fantasy genre.

I am a serious player who plays almost daily. I enjoy playing with a strong guild and enjoy working with and supporting guild members. I tend to not be a loot hog. At my age, I have learned to enjoy the journey, as well as reaching end game. Last but not least, I am a finisher. I set goals for my characters and reach them. In DAOC, my Warrior was level 50 and Realm Rank 5. My skald was also level 50 and Realm Rank 3. In Diablo II, my Barbarian is level 80.

I hope you enjoy playing WoW and if you want to give our guild a try, I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and have some fun times.
