New Guild Officers Selected

4-15-2004

It became obvious to Sintel and I (Ignis), that most of our efforts between now and the games release will be focused on the fan site. We are working hard on the databases and our mapping system. It is a huge effort on our part to get the quest, item, npc, and landmark databases finished. We are also building other engines for spells and specs.

We felt bad that we had not given the guild the attention it deserves. So we made an announcement to the guild on April 7, 2004, looking for people who wish to take a leading role to recruit new members, keep them informed about new issues, discuss and lead discussions on our forums. When the game starts, these individuals will continue to take a leading role and manage the night-to-night activities.

We received several responses from our request for new officers and we have selected three new officers to manage the day-to-day affairs of the guild. Your new officers are Bobbin, Trendle, and Hawkes.

  • Each officer will help moderate the forums; create new categories, drive topics, monitor responses, etc.
  • Bobbin has offered to help create documents such as class guides, guild policy, tips and tricks etc.
  • Trendle has been an officer in EQ for many years and bring his experience to the table.
  • Hawkes has many years of experience to offer our guild. This will be his first time as a guild officer and is excited about the challenge.
  • Each officer will help manage conflict resolution and bring issues to the Guild Master when necessary.
  • Each officer will also help new members feel welcome, help the guild find groups and help people stay active in the guild.

Congratulations to each of you for your willingness to take a leadership role in the guild.
