Gaming History

For the most part it all started my second year in college. I was in the computer lab late one night, unable to do anymore homework I started browsing directories, and guess what I found? A directory on C: called War. Intrigued I investigated and found a game called Warcraft. It was the most amazing game I'd ever seen or played. And so I was introduced to Blizzard games.

1 year later, again in the computer lab I found a game installed called Diablo. Again, I thought it was the most amazing game I'd ever seen or played.

By this time many many hours had been spent playing Warcraft, WarcraftII, & Diablo. Now, however I was watching Blizzard & anxiously awaiting any new games they released, aka Starcraft.

Starcraft was yet again what I thought was the most amazing game & it was responsible for the only C I ever got in college. Luckily even with Starcraft out I still managed to graduate.

Of course I was anxiously awaiting DiabloII for what seemed like centuries. After playing way too much DiabloII I relapsed back to strategy games, mainly Age of Empires, etc.

I had heard about EverQuest & Ultima Online, but they had never seemed interesting. All that changed one day at work when a friend(Roak) started playing Dark Age Of Camelot. It sounded like an interesting game and for some unknown reason he persuaded me to buy the game(even though I was at first encensed about having to pay a monthly fee). I have to admit at first I found the game kind of strange & I was dumbfounded by how much time it took to level. However I slowly became consumed with the game, almost like the daoc was it's own kind of soul stone stuck in my head. Anyway the rest is 'History', I now await with much expectations WOW hoping that the combination of Blizzard & a MMORPG will be awesome.
