How we got our Start

Shadows Edge was founded by a group of real life friends who have decades of gaming experience with Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, Ultima Online, Anarchy Online, Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies, and many other games. This groups of friends started playing games together once a week called "Game Night" in 1991. We all worked together at WordPerfect Corporation.

Over the years, the group recruited a few people and the group of friends grew. We tried new games and began the process of learning each other’s style of play, as well as our strengths and weaknesses. Over time, we became a well-polished gaming group. We became mature, experienced players who joined various guilds and fine-tuned our gaming skills and abilities.

We are programmers, software testers, and web developers. We spent some time discussing our experiences in various guilds and decided to take our turn at creating and hosting a gaming guild. This process turned into developing a Fan Site for Blizzard's World of Warcraft and forming a guild called Shadows Edge. We took an opportunity to recruit a few guild members and spent some time in Horizons to work out a few kinks.

Today, we are now prepared and looking forward to starting a guild in World of Warcraft. If you love learning everything about the game, playing hard, and taking your gaming experience to a new level, Shadows Edge is the guild for you. We hope to find players with a focus of mastering the game and creating an strong guild.
